Overview
Granola is an AI notepad for meetings. You jot rough notes as usual, and afterwards Granola combines them with a transcript of your computer's audio to write enhanced notes. No bot joins the call, so it works with Zoom, Meet, Teams or anything else, and it never saves audio or video. It runs on Mac and Windows with iPhone and Android apps, and the Business plan adds CRM integrations, an API and MCP.
Enki verdict
The best meeting notes for people who hate bots in calls; you trade away recordings and playback for that privacy.
Key features
Enhanced notes

Granola FAQ
- Is Granola free?
- Yes. The Basic plan is free and includes AI notes, AI chat and templates, but you can only see the last 30 days of meetings. Business removes the limit for $14 per user a month.
- Does Granola join my calls as a bot?
- No. Granola runs on your own computer and transcribes system audio and your microphone, so no bot joins the meeting and it works with any call app.
- Does Granola record audio?
- No. It never saves audio or video; audio is deleted once it has been transcribed. That also means there is no playback and you can't upload recordings.
- Does Granola train on my meetings?
- Granola may use anonymized data to improve its own models on Free and Business, and you can opt out in Settings. Third parties such as OpenAI and Anthropic are never allowed to train on your data.
