Gamma builds a complete, designed presentation from a prompt, pasted notes or an imported PDF or PowerPoint file, then lets you edit it card by card or ask its AI agent for changes. The same editor produces documents, one-page websites on custom domains, social posts and images. - Is Gamma free?
- Yes, with a catch. The free plan needs no credit card and gives 400 AI credits at signup, but they never refill, and each prompt makes at most 10 slides with Gamma branding on the result. Paid plans add monthly credits.
- How much does Gamma cost?
- Plus is $9, Pro $18 and Ultra $90 a seat a month billed annually, or $12, $25 and $100 billed monthly. Business is $40 a seat a month billed annually, and Enterprise is priced on request.
- How do Gamma credits work?
- Every AI action spends credits, and the cost depends on the action, the model and the length of what you generate. Plus includes 1,500 credits a month, Pro 4,000, Ultra 20,000 and Business 10,000 per seat. Unused credits roll over up to twice the monthly amount.
- Does Gamma use my content to train its AI?
- On Free, Plus, Pro and Ultra it can, by default. You can switch it off under Settings, Data Controls. On Team, Business and Enterprise workspaces, training is always off.
- Does Gamma work with PowerPoint and Google Slides?
- Yes. You can import a PowerPoint or PDF file to rework it in Gamma, and export any gamma to PowerPoint, PDF, PNG or Google Slides on every plan, including Free.
- Gamma vs Canva: which is better for presentations?
- Gamma is faster from an idea to a finished deck: you describe the talk and it writes and lays out every slide. Canva is a broader design tool built around editing templates by hand, so it suits people who want close control of the look over speed.
