Overview
Claude is Anthropic's assistant. It handles long documents and nuanced writing well, and its coding agent, Claude Code, runs in the terminal and in VS Code and JetBrains. Research mode and extended thinking tackle multi-step questions, and connectors built on the open Model Context Protocol link it to Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and more.
